About Me

Having started my career as a news stringer during my senior year of high school, I curated a diverse client list from large tech corporations, local news outlets, and government agencies. With 8 years of experience as a Firefighter/PIO for a local Fire Department, I crafted engaging content to support the mission of a small California Fire Department and conducted media interviews all while serving as an active Fire Captain and responding to calls for service. This background in the fire service has given me the ability to remain calm and level headed in high stress and time compressed environments. Working in news, I cover everything from major sports, protests, political events, and natural disasters. I work both locally and travel nationally to cover engaging stories where and when they happen. I excel in fast turnaround production typically found in the Docu/ENG environment.

Currently a Staff Photojournalist at KTVU FOX 2 in the SF Bay Area.

I have experience operating industry standard camera equipment including Sony XDCAM, Panasonic P2, Canon EOS Cinema and Mirrorless, and Arri digital cinema equipment. Experienced with lighting for broadcast interviews, utilizing industry standard equipment including LitePanels Astra and Gemini fixtures, as well as editing on Adobe NLE and photo editing software.
